Hidalgo / Der ewige Ton

… was an interactive sound ceremony presented as a music theatre experience.

For this project, I became the painter of moving light, creating real time visuals that responded continuously to the ceremonial process and to the collective voices and sounds of the audience. The visual composition evolved as a living dialogue between sound, light, and human presence, transforming the moment into a unique audiovisual experience.

INTERACTIVE SOUND CEREMONY

We recently learned of an ancient sound cult that is said to be reawakening across the world. Its followers gather in neo archaic rituals to worship DER EWIGE TON. Through collective music making, they seek to reconnect with the primordial roots of being human and, through sound, search for a sense of transcendence.

We now invite you to a world premiere: for the first time, DER EWIGE TON will arrive in Munich. Guided by a ceremonial leader, we will revive ritual and community together. The ceremony is interactive. You are welcome to participate as much or as little as you wish. You may join in, or simply experience the music quietly in your own way.
