Christina Gerg is a Berlin and Munich based multidisciplinary artist working across photography, video installation, and new media. Through compositions with light, texture and motion, she creates immersive visual experiences that explore how abstract forms communicate beyond language and invite sensory perception.
Born with partial hearing impairment, Gerg has integrated an artistic practice rooted in non verbal communication. Her work is driven by observation, exploring the silent dialogue between human perception, technology, and the natural world. Rather than translating reality, she creates spaces where these elements can encounter one another.
Combining analog and digital processes, from traditional photography to generative systems created with TouchDesigner, Gerg develops visual dramaturgies, immersive installations, and spatial environments that dissolve the boundaries between image, space, and experience. Working across disciplines and in collaboration with artists from diverse fields, her practice continuously expands through experimentation and exchange.
